For 2 girls who know nothing about cars, going to a mechanic is always a risk. It's easy to be ripped off when you don't know you're being ripped off. The mechanics at this shop were informative, kind, and made sure we understood everything being said to us. They even took us back and showed us the specific things that were wrong. I truly believe they were fair in their pricing and didn't take advantage of our lack of car knowledge. It's hard to find a good and honest mechanic, but I'll definitely return here! Thank you!

A jewel hidden away on Smith Road. I had an emergent situation where I needed to drive to Seattle whenever I got a call 24/7. My old buick's coolant system and water pump gave out on a Friday and I was in despair when my grown son told me about Flat Black Automotive. I called them around 2:00pm and they said come on in they would help me. They stayed past closing time to complete the job. My entire coolant system and gasget around intake were leaking badly. I wondered why so much water could be coming from just the water pump. Long story short, I would have been stranded on the Freeway to Seattle if they hadn't gone out of their way and helped me. Cost was very reasonable and they even through in an oil change I badly needed. These guys are amazing!! The kind of Mechanics I grew up with (I'm 66 years old))They can fix anything, very skilled, highly trained. I have found the place to take all my automotive problems.
