Andrew and his team took great care of me and my need to get my college kid's car in and fixed. The car needed to be towed in and Andrew was able to get the problem diagnosed, a game-plan built, parts ordered and the repairs completed all within that very next day. Andrew proactively called for authorization which also included a few needed maintenance recommendations to ensure my daughter's car stayed safe and reliable. The car was repaired correctly, for a fair price and with outstanding customer service. Can't ask for much more than that! Well done, Flat Black Automotive - Thank you!

Had never used this business before but needed to get my vehicle towed over the weekend. Was very pleased and even surprised with how quickly my car received repairs. The man there was very friendly and helpful. I'm definitely thinking about using Flat Black for future automotive work as well.

My only comment would be it can be hard to find. Business is behind another business.

Nothing worse then mice chewing the electrical in your car, the unknowns or discovery work one would say. This would leave a lot of room for some mechanics to up prices for long shop time. Not flat Black they had my car back on the road with a full explanation of where they looked what the found and for a price that was extremely fair. I take a lot of pride in my car and they did as well, will definitely be back if I have any more issues I need help with.

I came in for a wheel alignment and had a great experience. Andrew was great and helped me with other issues I was having with my vehicle. I have been dealing with Flat Black for years and I will continue to take my vehicles to them to be worked on.

I’ve known Andrew the owner for a number of years now as He has worked on 3 of our family rigs, from timing belts to rear axle rebuilding and other maintenance items. He and his crew have always done amazing work. Their pricing is competitive, they take exceptional care of your car. They are very knowledge and take time to explain what’s wrong as well as show you the problem if requested. Everyone has always been friendly and kind. I highly recommend this repair shop to anyone

I took my Saab 9-3 to Flat Black for a major repair a year ago after a co-worker recommended them. In addition to the recommendation, I had called several shops for estimates. Although the repair was expensive, it was over $200.00 less at Flat Black than every other shop I spoke to. They fixed the car and took the time to explain in plain language everything that had been done. I was impressed enough that I went back to Flat Black for an oil change and diagnostic for an intermittent engine light this year. They replaced a sensor that seemed to fix that problem. The engine light came on again about a week later. Andrew got me in right away for a second diagnostic and discovered a second sensor failure. The faulty sensor was replaced, an apology was humbly made, and I received a substantial discount on the second repair. The car is running well without any annoying warning lights. I have but one complaint. When I made the oil change appointment, I was not told by anyone that the shop moved from their Smith Road location to Iowa Street. I did not know about the move until I had driven out Smith Road to the old shop, which was mildly annoying. I received an apology, and I understand the omission likely occurred because the move was a year ago, so I still give Flat Black 5 stars. Great job Guys!
