Needed new struts & shocks on my f-150. I asked for Monroe brand and Mike hooked me up. While I was waiting for the install, Mike called, said my truck needed upper control arms. They sourced the control arms, and had the job done in the time frame I was given for the strut & shock job. Great job by the guys at Flat Black Automotive! Honest and reliable. Thanks.

When my vehicle broke down a road trip, Flat Black was able to get me on the schedule ASAP (thanks Mike for all your help/communication!) to identify and diagnose the problem with my engine. While they didn't have the right engine parts to make the fix on their end, they provided detailed explanation of the issue and allowed me to keep the vehicle at their location for multiple days while I determined the next step. After all this, they didn't even charge me for the inspection. I'd definitely recommend anyone check out Flat Black Auto if they run into an issue in Bellingham.

My car is a 2003 Cadillac Seville STS with 44,000 miles on it. I took it to Flat Black Automotive (recommended by Sk MotorSport) for a transmission oil flush and to see where an oil leak was coming from. Mike, at the front counter was very pleasant to deal with and I felt very much at ease dealing with him, when I went to pick my car up he told me that the technician that worked on my care said that my transmission fluid was still in great shape and didn't require changing, he also told me where the oil leak was coming from. There was no charge for their service which was indeed a very pleasant surprise! I cannot praise their honesty and professionalism any higher than giving them 5 stars as that is the maximum I can give. I have found my 'Go To' automotive repair shop, thank you FBA!
